About B V V Sangha

The Basaveshwar Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha (B.V.V.Sangha), Bagalkot situated in the northern part of Karnataka which was founded by His Holiness Shri Gurubasava Mahaswamiji of Bilur in the year 1906, with the opening of a Sanskrit Patashala.    The clarity of vision, untiring efforts coupled with a commitment to the society at large of Founder and the subsequent leaders of BVV Sangha has gone a long way in shaping the destiny of millions of people of the north part of Karnataka over a century. Shri. Dr. Veeranna Charantimath, a dynamic person with a vision is the Chairman of B.V.V. Sangha. He has given new dimensions to B.V.V. Sangha with great care for the quality of educational institutions in a span of 15 years he doubled the number of educational institutions. His strong belief is “the spread of education naturally works on social, economic, health front of the people of this area”.
 Sangha is now a leading educational organization running more than 152 institutes and various campuses spread over more than 600 acres in 4 districts. It has the experience of successful experimentation in all aspects of education. Sangha has been serving the poor, the underprivileged and needy people of this backward area for more than a century upholding social, human and ethical values with an emphasis on “WORK IS WORSHIP” the basic philosophy of Lord Basaveshwar. Here is the success story of this organization, which stands distinct in the southern part of India, for its high order selfless service and putting up its best efforts for providing quality and modern education to all sections of the society. The prominent colleges are in various domains such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering & Technology, Dental, Medicine, Management, Education, HR Training, Sports and Vocational trades. Most of the institutions are recognized and accredited by organizations of national and international repute.  Around 50,000 students are learning under the supervision and support of nearly 5,000 well-qualified and dedicated staff members. There are 24 boys and girls hostels accommodating thousands of students with the state of art facilities. A new phase of experiments of growth came to the fore, two decades ago. The Sangha ventured on to opening institutions imparting education and services of different kinds. Job oriented Diploma, paramedical courses, and community Colleges were started. After this period, the Sangha forged ahead, each year opening new institutes and adding different courses in the existing institutions. The types of institutes and the kinds of courses are vivid, need to be based and spread over both urban as well as rural areas. The kinds of courses and institutes started during this period range from vocational courses like vehicle driving, tailoring to professional courses like medical college, from research centers to management studies.        Besides building many educational institutions, the Sangha has been serving the society in many other forms. Every year, cultural Melas are regularly organized, on auspicious days, which make for social integration and cultural exchange. The state-level conferences like Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, Sharana Sahitya Sammelana, mini Olympics have been ardently organized for the welfare of the society.

About BIPS Branches

Basaveshwara International Public School also known as BIPS. The first branch of the school was established in 2000 in Vidyagiri, Bagalkot. Basaveshwara International Public School is a Co-Ed school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) . It is managed by Basaveshwara Veerashaiva Vidya Vardhaka Sangha. In year 2020-2021 four other branches were established in Mudhol, Lokapur, Bidadhi and Ramadurga.  With a sole vision to provide quality education & develop an inter-disciplinary approach in all the areas of holistic development of students, B.V.V Sangha established BIPS. BIPS vision centers upon the belief that learning experiences for our students should address the varied intellectual physical social and emotional development of the child learning experiences and courses are designed to help students make sense of themselves and the world around them.

Basaveshwara International Public School is one of the most paramount schools in Bidadi, Ramanagar district, Karnataka state. This school is widely known as BIPS Bidadi. Our school is governed by Basaveshwara Veerashaiv Vidyavardhak Sangha, Bagalkote, Karnataka. BIPS gives pre-eminence in preparing children to conquer the challenges of 21st Century world. It was established in the year 2019 and where in a span of just 4 years it could fetch 600+ admissions. BIPS students have participated in various competitions of taluk, districtand state-level . BIPS is always encouraging and inspiring leadership that helps to continue the excellence in the field of education.

I am honoured and feel privileged to function as the Principal of Basaveshwara International Public School (BIPS Bidadi), Bidadi . I thank the Management, B.V.V. Sangha group of institutions –BIPS Mother Branch for giving me the opportunity to serve the community here in Bidadi and I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the stakeholders of Sangha, BIPS school parents and lovely students.  

We, at Basaveshwara International Public School Bidadi (BIPS Bidadi), ensure high quality education which motivates and empowers our students to be lifelong learners and the productive members of the society. At BIPS, education is not just the amount of information that is put into a child’s brain. Our education system is the one that cater the individual needs of the students. Achieving individual student success at our school is ensured by delivering quality education, enriching and nurturing inner strength of our students by providing balanced and structured curriculum.
